It all starts by you filling out the pre application found on this website. If you prefer to just call us directly and provide your email address to have the application emailed to you, you are welcomed to do so. But we prefer if you first submitted an online application so we can get more details about your company because not all businesses are the same. The pre application takes less than 1 minute to fill in the details.
When you receive the actually merchant application from us, it will have all the rates and fees listed. Visa and MasterCard is automatically setup with every account. If you want to accept American Express and Discover, you simply have to sign the appropriate place on the application so we can set you up with it.
The types of information we request on the application are your Federal or State Tax Identification Number. If you are the sole owner of the company and prefer to use your Social Security Number in lieu of a Federal Tax ID, you can do so. We also ask for personal information such as website address, the address of the business, telephone and fax number, email, driver’s license number…and so on. We also ask for a voided check or a bank reference letter for settlements. This simply means when you process, our bank has to pay you for the transactions you’ve processed so we need a bank account that belongs to you or the business.
Once you fax back the application (or scan and email back to us), it generally takes between 2 to 3 business days for an approval. Every small business is different and is treated as such. For owner with bad credit, it can take a bit longer to get approved.
