FIS & Airdrie Savings Bank Signs Five-year Contract for Hosted Debit Card Processing

FISFIS and Airdrie Savings Bank announced today that they have signed a five year contract for debit card processing services. Airdrie Savings Bank will be utilizing FIS’s Cortex card management solution which will probably be implemented by the end of this year.

FIS is considered one of the largest providers of payment technology to the banking industry. Airdre is the only independent bank in Britain to date.

FIS’s Cortex is an adoptable software application platform that can pretty much handle credit card transactions on just about any level when it comes to fund transfer. The Cortex solution offer organizations and businesses the ability to issue credit, debit and prepaid payment.

Airdrie Savings Bank was founded in 1835 and they now have several branches. With over 60,000 customers, FIS stands to gain a lot from this deal. The bank focuses on customer service as one of their top priority. They have quite a zeal for solving problems for their customers that has to relate to PCI Compliance. With FIS on board those security issues should be taken care of as the burden rests on them. FIS has the experience in deploying platforms that can handle PCI compliance issues.
